Welcome to the World of PS Remote Play on Android!

So, let me tell you about this lifesaver of an app called PS Remote Play. The other day, I decided to dive into this realm where I could take my beloved PlayStation games on the go—because, you know, life doesn’t stop just because I want to grind some XP on a Sunday afternoon. I downloaded PS Remote Play on Android, and honestly, I felt like an absolute genius. I mean, who wouldn’t want to roll around in their bed while raiding dungeons and conquering worlds? It’s like squeezing the essence of gaming into my pocket. Truly some witchcraft, but I’m here for it!

The first time I fired it up, I was all set to jump into “Demon's Souls.” As my fingers danced on the screen, it felt like I was playing a game of touch-and-go. Seriously, who needs a controller when you’re determined to embrace the "mobile gaming dexterity" only seen in a matrix movie? Sure, I had a few ridiculously clumsy moments, like trying to dodge an enemy and accidentally ordering a pizza instead, but hey, everyone has to start somewhere, right? Note to self: avoid using the swipe gesture for dodging in crucial boss fights unless you're also really hungry.

Let’s talk about controls! I know, I know, touchscreens are usually the bane of any serious gamer’s existence. But guess what? You can connect a Bluetooth controller and pretend you’re the chosen one again. Remember when every family had a kid that swore they were the next gaming prodigy? Yeah, that could totally be you—just be careful; your epic skills won't shield you from your mom walking in while you’re still in your pajamas. Oh, and if you encounter random lag spikes, just channel your inner Zen and pretend it’s an artistic interpretation of time travel. “Look, Mom! I’m playing with a *retro* vibe!”

Flipping Awesome Features and Funny Mishaps

Now, let’s dive into some of the quirky features. You can stream your PS4 or PS5 games at home or elsewhere (seriously, who says you can’t game on a work break?). It’s wild! Picture this: chilling on a park bench while taking down zombies like you’re in some post-apocalyptic rom-com. Did I mention that there are mods too? You know, like the one that gives you a mod for lots of money in PS Remote Play? It’s like finding a cheat code for real life—except it’s not cheating if you’re doing it for the *entertainment*, right? You can also use mods to tweak the gameplay, which is just encouragement for me to go on a spend-a-thon like I'm in a virtual shopping spree with Monopoly money!

Oh, and a friendly tip for all newbies: Get comfortable with your phone. Seriously, it becomes an extension of your gaming self. You don’t want to fumble when you need to hit that perfect combo during a boss fight! Whether you're wielding a sword or a controller from the couch, just own it. And if you ever find yourself feeling overwhelmed, just remember, there’s always a “pause” button. You can take a breather…and maybe grab a snack, because let's face it, gaming is hard work!

Final Thoughts and Laughs Along the Way

In conclusion, my wild ride with PS Remote Play on Android has been nothing short of extraordinary. If you want the freedom to game while multitasking life’s never-ending responsibilities (or just avoiding chores), this is the app for you. I mean, I’ve unlocked the ability to play while pretending to be productive, and that’s the height of adulting right there. So grab your phone, cozy up, and take it for a spin—because life’s too short to not game while you’re literally anywhere! Plus, if you mess up, just laugh it off; gaming isn’t supposed to be serious business. It’s all about the memories, the laughs, and yes, even the embarrassing moments you share with your friends about that time you paused mid-Destiny raid to learn how to cook macaroni. Culinary skills are *so* overrated anyway, right?

I've been using the Remote Play app for a while now, and it's great to have the ability to play my PS games on the go. When it works, it’s seamless and the graphics are impressive for a mobile experience. However, I have run into connectivity issues that can be a bit frustrating. It’s a mixed bag; when it's good, it’s really good, but the hiccups can interrupt an otherwise fun gaming session.

I tried the PlayStation Remote Play app on my Android, and while it offers great flexibility for gaming on the go, I found the connection stability to be a bit flaky at times. It's awesome when it works smoothly, but those lags can really disrupt the experience. Also, the setup process was a little tricky for someone who isn't as tech-savvy. Overall, a good idea but needs some tweaks for better reliability.

We need to add support for connection via mobile. At home I have a ps4 on at home via WiFi, of course. But where I am WiFi may not be, and why is it if there is 4g in the phone? Also need support for joystick. Android 7

With the PS-OS update, the app is now available on all devices, not just Sony phones. All evening tried to connect Android and iOs phones with the console - not found, not connected, error N 88010e0f. And so it and so and so ... Today from the other end of the city in automatic mode - Yes easily. - The main thing is that it really works :) I saw it, although the delay is too great in active games can not lose :)))))

All cool, but stability needs more (even with good internet) sometimes the quality drops sharply, or even connection drops. Over time it became better. Playing is not particularly comfortable, but you can watch the store and put on the download is very convenient.

Leaves much to be desired Internet is fast, the set-top box itself is connected by cable, but even when nothing is connected to the network except the set-top box and the phone there is a loss of connection once every 10-15 minutes. But it is not so critical and can survive, the picture quality is pretty good. But if at least one third-party device is connected to the network, it becomes impossible to use the application, the connection is covered before you can even connect, at best you can use it for about 20 seconds.

The application on the Samsung j4 works without problems on medium resolution. Due to weak wifi on the phone is not possible to use 60fps and 720 or 1080p. Stably plays at 540p and standard frame rate. Thanks to the developers for the opportunity to use the program on other android devices! Test performed on PS4 PRO firmware version 7.00

This is a masterpiece! In previous versions, there were 2 main problems that killed the point of the application - the gamepad does not work and the lack of connection through the mobile Internet. The latest version has all been fixed. Now you can play PS4 exclusives when you are away from home. Bravo!
