The latest update has turned the app into a useless thing. Sorting chats by activity no longer helps you see new messages. You have to scroll through the entire list of chats to find the right one.

All in all, it works. One time recently: not showing new messages in the feed, even after restarting the application. The "clear local server cache" button in the application settings seems to have helped.
